Khadija is an ambulance driver. It is a thursday evening and she is on duty waiting for the next call to come in.
As she is idling in the ambulance, the Conscious City AI directs her to drive to a different location in the neighborhood, about two kilometres away.
Ten minutes later, the next call comes in and Khadija is nearer to the scene than she would have been.
The AI used statistical mining and machine learning to make a probabilistic estimate of where the next emergency would occur, and got Khadija’s ambulance into position, allowing her to arrive sooner.

Alice moves to the Arious Conscious City to work in finance. As part of moving in to her new home, she needs a permit to park her car on the street outside. This is a routine based bureaucratic function of the city government.
Rather than having to fill out forms and make an appointment, she shares her credentials and proof of residency using the Atala Prism app and immediately gets her request filled by a digital human (a talking avatar) on her tablet computer.
It uses OpenCg speech & language models to hold a fluent conversation & answer questions. It can also look up her identity, address, & driving license in the governmental database to verify if she is eligible for the residential parking permit.
The avatar can simultaneously deal with thousands of inquiries simultaneously, saving government staffing costs. Alice is very happy.

A day in the life of Takashi
Takashi comes to the Arious Future City to work in a chemistry research lab.
In the lab there are small cameras that monitor his body language throughout the day, using similar technology to that which Grace and Sophia, our social/emotional robots used to detect emotion.
This allows the AI to notice early signs of fatigue in Takashi and reschedule his shifts to prevent laboratory accidents caused by tiredness. The quality of the research goes up and the frequency of accidents go down.

technology, Takashi thrives in his productivity increases and he enjoys great success in his career, inventing life changing pharmaceuticals.

Mario visits the Arious Future City for a football match.
His flight is delayed and he only reaches his hotel lobby at 2:00 am, along with 200 other Italian football fans from the same flight.
This problem is solved by the city’s AI tech. Rather than having to wait for an hour at a congested reception desk
to get his room key, several AI hospitality robots are helping guests in the lobby.
Acting as a force-multiplier to the reception staff, allowing the queue to get cleared up to 5 times quicker and getting him to his hotel room within 10 minutes of reaching the hotel.
